Terms and conditions

Please read the term’s and conditions of purchase carefully before making an order.

General T’s and C’s

  • I can only send tubers, seeds and plants within Australia and to non-quarantine states. Orders from Tasmania, Western Australia and Northern Territory unfortunately cannot be accepted.

  • I am unable to combine shipping costs on multiple orders. Way too complicated and time consuming for me at this point in time.

  • Plants and tubers are shipped on Mondays via Australia post express post in an attempt to ensure they are not left sitting at the post office for an extended period of time or over the weekend. I can not be responsible for delays or non-delivery by Australia Post. Your tracking number will be sent to you once posted and it is up to you to follow up with your local post office on the whereabouts of your plant and tuber babies.

  • If you happen to be away for an extended period of time and would prefer your plants to be sent on a particular Monday, then please contact me and I will do my best to accommodate your request.

  • Once purchased, no refund will be issued because you change your mind. However I understand sometimes it’s easy to get excited and click too many times and order twice, in which case, contact me and I will sort it out and refund the second unwanted item for you.

  • I can’t be held responsible for how plants, seeds and tubers grow in your garden or climate. You are also at the mercy of your own gardening skills so please take careful consideration of these factors before purchasing as no refuns will be issued based on poor planning or research on your behalf.

Tubers…

  • A flat fee of $20 is applied for shipping at checkout.

  • When your tubers arrive, please unpack immediately and inspect them. I only send tubers with visible eyes or shoots to reduce the chance of any quality issues. If you find an issue with your tuber upon receipt, please contact me asap (within 3 days of receiving them) with photos and I will do my best to either fully refund you or replace the tuber. As I am a small grower, a replacement oft he same tuber may not be possible, in which case a refund will be issued.

  • If you are not ready to plant, then please keep them in slightly damp growing medium. Coconut coir is my preference.

Plants and Cuttings

  • A flat fee of $22 is applied for shipping at checkout.

  • Similarly, when your plants arrive, please unpack them immediately and inspect them. Please give them a water and if possible some weak seasol solution as they may have become stressed travelling.

  • Each plant has been carefully inspected and cared for prior to making the decision to put them up for sale.

  • I package the plants in paper pots which means you can plant them immediately without having to disturb their roots and the newspaper will biodrgrade and roots will push through. If you choose to remove the paper pot, please do so carefully and unwind the paper rather than puling it out from the top. No responsibility can be taken for careless un-packaging or care once you have received them.

  • The plant has been labelled using strips from recycled milk bottles. I find these fade after time, so please re-label your precious plant so you don’t forget what it is.

  • The plants will be sent once they have adequate root strength and have been hardened off ready for planting. Please only plant out once all risk of frost has passed.
